West Fork Environmental conducted this project using wildlife cameras to document the presence of Humboldt marten in managed forest stands in the Central Coast Range of Oregon. This work is part of a larger collaborative study design being conducted by private forest landowners, federal land managers and Oregon State wildlife scientists.

West Fork crews are responsible for maintaining multiple camera observation stations that have been randomly located based on timber type and spatial separation. Camera stations are set to record observations of animals attracted to bait and scent stations nearby.
